Paddy Walker is managing director of the J Leon Group, a fourth generation family office based in Hampstead, London, whose principal asset class is UK commercial property.

Leon is a diversified group and runs long-only equities through a family-held quoted Unit Trust. ZeroC Holdings is the group’s specialist sustainable house-builder. Leon runs a captive venture capital operation and invests in third party private equity partnerships. Leon also has a portfolio of hedge fund investments.

Previously Paddy was a director at Hillsdown Investment Trust, the private equity arm of Hillsdown Holdings. Educated at Durham University, Paddy was commissioned into the 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards before receiving his MBA from New York's Cornell University.

Paddy is currently chairman of the Institute of Family Business’ Family Office forum.
