Nole, as he is affectionately known to family, friends and fans, was born on 22 May 1987, in Belgrade, Serbia. He started his professional career in 2003 and in 2007 won his first Grand Slam Title (French Open). After that he never looked back and so far in his short career has already won 5 Grand Slams and 29 other major titles. He also earned total career prize money of more than $35 million which earned him 4th place in the list of all time leaders in tennis earnings. So far 2011 was the best year of his career when he won three major singles titles and became only the sixth player in the history to win three Majors in one calendar year. Overall he is the most exciting young player to ever enter in the tennis court.
